£4.99 +VAT is the flat-rate shipping charge that applies to all UK Mainland (excl. Scottish Highlands) orders under £50.00 (excluding VAT). It is not necessarily a next-day service that we offer as some items can take between 2 and 7 days to be ready for dispatch depending on the brand of the item. Deliveries to more remote areas of the United Kingdom will incur additional charges. Please be aware of the extended dispatch times for branded items by Blaklader, Helly Hansen, Snickers Workwear, Mascot & Fristads Kansas. This can be up to 7 days depending on brand. We keep a number of popular items available in our stock for immediate dispatch - when this is the case it will say so on the product description.
Items that you have not selected to personalise with print or embroidery will be delivered within 72 hrs.
Printed or Embroidered Items
Like most distributors of the premium Scandinavian brands like Blaklader, Snickers, Helly Hansen, Fristads Kansas and Mascot, we import most items directly from the brands' central distribution centres across Europe.
Therefore we will aim to deliver items by these manufacturers one week (seven days) after receiving your order.
A range of Blaklader items are available in our stock for immediate dispatch and next day delivery - applicable items will say this on the product description.
As hard hats have a shelf life and are only guaranteed for a certain time frame, every safety helmet is made to order. That means that dispatch of these items can take anywhere between 4 and 14 working days.
However, for hard hats which have a higher turnover rate we do keep a small amount of stock for immediate dispatch.

We would recommend that you return your items via registered post. Please clearly state on the invoice the reason for return and whether you require a refund or exchange,
Personalised Items are non-returnable. Some goods are non-returnable for hygiene reasons. Please note that this does not affect your statutory rights.
If a full refund including original delivery costs is required then the entire order needs to be returned back to us within thirty (30) working days. However you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. If a refund is payable to you we will process the refund as soon as possible, and, in any case within fourteen (14) days.
The goods do not need to be in their original packaging however in a sellable condition, and at your own cost and risk.
You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession. If you fail to comply with this obligation, we may have a right of action against you for compensation. This applies to all goods that are returned.
Our returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
If you return goods claiming they are defective, we will examine the returned goods and will notify you of your refund via e-mail within a reasonable period of time. We will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case within thirty (30) days of the day we confirm via e-mail that you are entitled to a refund for defective goods.
If a refund or reimbursement is payable to you, we will do our best to return the money using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase. If we cannot refund via the original payment then a cheque will be raised and sent to the billing address.
